Calvert Memorial Hospital began in 1919 as a small community hospital. 将近一个世纪之后, Calvert 健康 System has evolved into an organization with locations and services throughout the county and beyond.

Rebranding allowed us to create a unified approach – encouraging awareness and understanding of the services we offer. Whenever one of our patients is treated by a 立博app physician, uses a 立博app service or visits a 立博app facility, they will see the 立博app brand and know that it is part of a coordinated system of care.

The legal name for Calvert 健康 System, Inc., 母公司, 没有改变, but it will be referred to as 立博app for marketing and promotional purposes. Other entities - which are known in the public - legally changed names effective September 14, 2017. 这些都是:

立博app is one word because neither of the words “Calvert” nor “健康” could be trademarked individually. 立博app® is a registered trademark of the organization.

A lot has changed since 立博app first opened its doors. There were less than 11,000 people living in the county then. Now, more than 91,000 call Calvert County their home. And that growth is expected to continue in the coming decades, especially among older residents. A total of 179 patients were cared for at the hospital in 1920 – now we serve approximately 420 patients every day.

还有其他的变化. Our medical staff has grown to almost 350 providers, offering more than 45 specialties. Their outstanding care is enhanced by clinical alliances with metropolitan medical centers that bring the region’s top experts here to treat local residents close to home.

最近的进展, like the state-of-the art diagnostic imaging and the new, integrated information system completed in 2016, make it possible to provide even better care for you. 2016年秋天, our 流动医疗中心 took its first trip – traveling to underserved areas of our county – to bring local residents essential primary care and preventive services. Most recently, 立博app added 泌尿外科 and 代谢 & 减肥手术 practices to meet community needs and affiliated with Duke 健康 to provide the most advance cancer care and treatment available.
